3 Inspirations from an Educational Conference

This week, the WWD team was passionately sharing our writing program with educators at #SCATA 2017. And now that it's all over, this educational conference is bringing us a moment of reflection.

• We may be a little biased... but watching our founder Amber in action during her presentations was out-of-this-world. The motivation was intense, and you could even feel the energy in the air. Educators were nodding their heads in agreement, giving amazing feedback, and loving every second of it.
• There are so many educators to meet and talk with. And they all have a wealth of experiences they want to share, from the challenging to the rewarding. They're what makes our program possible! Every voice adds to the power of our educator-designed materials, so we can meet students exactly where they're at.
• Educators are extremely excited about creating a culture of writing in their schools. Once they see what WWD can do for their students and teachers, their faces light up in surprise at the possibilities. It might be the most powerful inspiration when it comes to what WWD can and is doing in schools throughout the United States. It goes to show that, as educators, we're all in this together!
